Our parish is pleased to announce the launch of the Prayer Chain Ministry, an initiative designed to connect our community through the power of prayer. This ministry is a response to the heartfelt need for unity, support, and spiritual encouragement, especially during times of challenge. Grounded in the belief that prayer can heal, bring peace, and strengthen our faith, the Prayer Chain Ministry invites every member of our parish and beyond to participate in this shared mission.
The Prayer Chain Ministry offers a simple but profound way for us to care for one another. When parishioners submit prayer requests—whether for personal struggles, loved ones, or global concerns—these intentions are passed along to a network of dedicated prayer partners. Each member of the Prayer Chain Ministry commits to praying over these requests with compassion and respect, creating a “chain” of support that binds us together in love and faith.
Confidentiality is key to this ministry. Every prayer request is handled with the utmost discretion, allowing those who seek prayer to feel safe and supported. This trust ensures that the Prayer Chain Ministry is a place where individuals can find comfort and encouragement, knowing that others are lifting them up in prayer.
Our hope is that this ministry will serve as a source of strength for all involved. Through prayer, we can offer each other solace, encouragement, and a reminder that no one in our community is alone. The Prayer Chain Ministry is not just about addressing needs but also about building a compassionate and faith-filled community, one prayer at a time.
If you feel called to join as a member of the Prayer Chain or have a prayer request to share, please contact us at Prayerpartners@xtra.co.nz.
Together, let us create a strong and supportive chain of prayer that reflects God’s boundless love and grace.
